Custom Domains

Learn how to make your server truely yours with a custom domain.

To use a custom domain with your Minehut server, you need access to a domain (which can be purchased from any domain registry) and a Minehut server to connect it to.

Here are the steps to set it up:

1. Go to the Custom Domains section on the Minehut dashboard at https://minehut.com/dashboard/settings.

2. Click Add Domain and enter the desired domain (e.g. play.example.com).

3. Follow the instructions in the pop-up to set up an SRV record.

1. Verify the domain and your server's icon, MOTD, and player count will be displayed in the Minecraft client when using the custom domain.

Note: Only use your minehut.gg domain to promote your server within Minehut channels.
