Using Seeds

Learn how to change your Minecraft World seed.

Minecraft worlds generate randomly, you may have found a certain world that you’d like to explore, all you need is that world's seed. Seeds are specific to each world and can be used to choose a certain world generation.

Changing your world seed is easy, follow these simple steps:

  1. Activate your server on the website so you can access your server's panel

  2. Stop the server - Setting your seed will require the world reset

  3. Go to the World section of the panel found at the top of the page

  4. Click the Reset World button and save

  5. Scroll down the “World Seed” and type in the seed that you want to upload

  6. Click Save

  7. When your server starts up the new seed will be generated
